It starrer Rajendra Kumar and Mala Sinha in the lead roles. The movie was one of the blockbuster movies of 1970. ‘Geet’ is a musical love story. The evil forces could not let the lovers be happy even in their adversity. The adverse circumstances was created between beloved to seperate them. The evil Humiliated and injured to the extent that he even could not speak the truth. But truth cannot be hidden forever. Like the rising sun, Truth must rise above the mists of doubts and dispel the darkness of untruth. Before that happens Gods put human beings to such severe tests that even angels gets scared. But the man with the strength of his faith and love attains such heights where the angels salute them. ‘Geet’ is the immoral story of the love and faith- ‘Geet’ is a song of Love.
